Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurveda today announced its partnership with eight e-tailers to sell its Swadeshi range of Fast-moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) online.
Ramdev today made the announcement in New Delhi where representatives of all the e-commerce companies and Patanjali Ayurveda’s Managing Director Acharya Balkrishna were present.
Patanjali Ayurveda’s products will now be available on websites including Paytm Mall, BigBasket, Flipkart, Grofers, Amazon, netmeds, 1mg and Shopclues, among others.
“Great to see all the leading eCommerce honchos coming together for first time for a grand tie up Patanjali. Now all these platforms will make Patanjali’s range of swadeshi products available to online buyers,” Ramdev said in his twitter account.
Patanjali Ayurveda’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Acharya Balkrishna said the new mechanism would help the company’s products reach people who prefer to use online platform for shopping more these days.
“It would reach those who do not have access to the point of purchase and they are looking for alternate mechanism to shop and can get Patanjali products at home, and provide most efficient and convenient digital shopping experience,” Balkrishna said.
Some of Patanajali’s products are already available on several online platforms through various other sellers, but this would allow the Haridwar-based firm to reach wider markets.
